| SCB Group’s position as the world’s largest biofuels and biomass broker was confirmed by its placing in the Energy Risk 2011 rankings. Environmental Risk’s inaugural Deal of the Year in 2008 was awarded to SCB Group for helping customers arrange a long term non-food feedstock biodiesel transaction.
In 2009 SCB Group was the 1st Broker to assist customers in three new categories of paper swaps to be entered into CME Group’s Clearport; European Argus RME swaps, European Argus FAME 0 swaps and CBOT CORN paper swaps.
In 2010 SCB Group arranged the 1st transaction in CME Group’s Clearport, European Argus FAME 0 spread to ICE Gasoil swap plus the 1st transaction in CME Clearport Industrial Wood Pellet swaps. In 2011 SCB Group was the first 1st Broker to facilitate CME Cleared swap customer transactions in Rape Seed and German Ethanol. Early in 2012 SCB Group was the 1st Broker to arrange a transaction in CME Cleared Argus Rape Seed Oil swaps.
